a little something

I found some cute felt ornaments the other day at Target.  They were super cheap, three for a dollar I think.  So I grabbed a few thinking they'd be perfect for the tree.  While trimming the tree however, I decided these felt guys wouldn't really fit into what we had goin'.  Instead of ignoring them completely, I decided to work them in some other way.

Behold: 

Whadya think?  I made a garland!  My first one ever.  It's a lot harder to put a zig zag stich on 1/8 inch of ribbon than it looks, fellas.  Let's hope no one looks at this garland too close up.  It definitely has character.  But I like it.  And the best part?  Cost me about four dollars.  Maybe even less than that.
