Just thought you might want to see what Ian has been up to. He's been working really long and hard the past few months on the three videos below. There was a lot of collaborative work on these projects, but Ian was responsible for almost all the filming and the editing. It's fun for me to see the end result because Ian becomes so focused when he's working that I don't really see how it's really going, or forming. But now I finally know what everyone's raving about! The first two videos have actually won a couple of awards for best advertising of 2011! I'm not sure on all the details, so I'll fill you in once I find out. I do know, however, that because of one of the awards, The Hope Center will be receiving $1000. Isn't that great? I feel all beamy and proud. Please enjoy!
I'm actually in this video. For about a second. Can you spot me?
Fun fact: my bro in law James composed the music for this one

i only had time to watch the first one but that was ABSOLUTELY fantastic. wow. I was already sold on Lexington because of all your beautiful blog posts and positive things to say about it, but this just sells me even more. I totally want to live there now. I love the message of it all, and the shots are just beautiful. tell Ian that the Sines think he's awesome. but he probably already knows that we think that. : )
Thanks Bethany! I certainly think Lexington is beautiful. I can't wait for it to be green again so I can always be outside! And I understand on the time thing. These videos are a little long to watch all at once, but... ya know. Might as well share 'em :)
Wow! We were VERY impressed! All three of the videos were so beautiful, and the filming and editing was simply amazing! Good job Ian! You have a really good talent for film.
Okay. I am in a video production class right now, and can I just say that it has given me this whole new appreciation for people who do it for a living? It is HARD, and it really does take a good eye and tons of training. These are just awesome. And they gave me a few ideas for my class (we have to make a commercial... sigh. I suck at film.)
Thanks Jess! I'm pretty impressed with it all. I don't know how he does it.
